Head: Golden Bay, tipped with diamond-shaped creamy white spangle.
Neck: Hackle – rich lustrous golden bay, each feather ending in a diamond of creamy white
spangle. Front of neck same as breast.
Back: Rich Lustrous reddish brown.
Saddle: same as hackles.
Tail: Main Tail, Creamy White, Sickles – Creamy White, Lesser Sickles – Creamy White with
a very fine lacing of golden bay, tipped with a creamy white diamond shaped spangle.
Coverts: same as back.
Wings: Shoulders, Fronts & Bows- Lustrous rich reddish brown. Coverts- Rich Golden Bay, ending in
a creamy white spangle, forming a distinct bar across wing. Primaries- upper webs, creamy white;
lower webs, creamy white tingled with golden bay. Secondaries- upper webs, creamy white; lower
webs, golden bay, ending in a large creamy white spangle.
Breast: Rich Golden bay, each feather ending in a V-shaped creamy white spangle.
Body & Stern: Body Same as breast. Stern- Light golden bay with indistinct creamy white tips.
Lower Thighs- Same a breast but slightly lighter shade.

Defects
More attention should be given to brightness and sharpness of spangling that whether the bird appears lighter or
darker than your individual preference. In Golden Neck plumage, the male hackle and saddle feathers should match.
There appears to be a tendency toward lightness in the hackles with a darker coloring in the saddle feathers which is
a serious defect
